Meet your Instructor

Professor of New Testament Emmanuel Engulu

Emmanuel was born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and has seen the Lord work through his parents’ sacrifices to bring him to where he is today. He holds a Master of Divinity, and Master of Theology from Denver Seminary, and is completing a Ph.D at King’s College London. In his free time, he enjoys cinnamon rolls, playing basketball, reading, watching movies (particularly Star Wars and superhero films), working out, and meeting new people. Emmanuel and his wife Kelly have three children. Emmanuel currently is a Bible teacher at Valor Christian High School, an elder at Providence Bible Church, an adjunct at Denver Seminary, and preaches at various other churches.
